Filthy Chai

The spiced tea, known as masala chai, has been a part of Indian culture for centuries. Chai latte is a Western adaptation, where adding hot milk to the spiced tea, delivers a warming, aromatic and smooth hot drink. 

We love Chai. We love Dirty Chai. We twisted it and made a Filthy Chai with our Midnight Oil coffee liqueur. 

Ingredients:

• 25 g Prana Chai

• 35 ml Midnight Oil coffee liqueur

• 150 ml milk of your choice

• Sugar and nutmeg mix (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. In the chai jug, add Prana Chai and steep in enough water to cover the chai, let it brew for about 1 minute.

2. In your mug, pour 35 ml Midnight Oil coffee liqueur.

3. Add milk to the brewed chai and steam to a latte-like consistency.

4. Strain the steamed chai through a sieve into your mug over the coffee liqueur. 

5. Top with a dusting of sugar and nutmeg mix.
