Midnight Creeper

Midnight Creeper is a 1968 album by jazz saxophonist Lou Donaldson. It’s also the name our previous Broadway Market neighbours, Kansas Smitty’s, have given to their Midnight Oil cocktail. Like all their drinks, this one’s best stirred, shaking disturbs the jazz…

Ingredients:

• 50 ml Monkey Shoulder

• 15 ml Midnight Oil coffee liqueur

• 10 ml Fino

• Branca Menta Mint liqueur

• Chocolate bitters

• Demerara sugar

Instructions:

1. Fill a tall glass with ice.

2. In the glass, add Monkey Shoulder, Midnight Oil coffee liqueur, Fino, Mint liqueur and sugar. 

3. Stir the mixture thoroughly until the sugar is mostly dissolved.

4. Add a few drops of chocolate bitters on top. 

5. Sip and enjoy!
